Autumn Fashion Updates

October 10, 2020October 10, 2020Leave a comment

This Autumn is certainly unusual on the fashion-front. The pandemic and working from home has certainly had an influence on what we buy (if we buy) and the fashion industry seems to have responded to this with an emphasis on loungewear and more easy to wear/practical pieces. I for one, am certainly going out a … Continue reading Autumn Fashion Updates

The Knitwear Edit ’19

November 3, 2019November 3, 2019Leave a comment

Well there's no denying it's officially sweater weather (in the U.K. anyway) and after getting all of my heavier knits out of storage and reviving those that I could, (with the de-bobbler) I have ended up buying a few new pieces. Chunky knits and cardi-coats are my go-to at this time of year. Here are … Continue reading The Knitwear Edit ’19

Autumn Fashion Staples

October 2, 2019October 2, 2019Leave a comment

It would seem that we have had the final hurrah of Summer, so it's time to put those amazing Summer dresses away (unless they can be paired with a knit and ankle boots) and reach for the warmer items at the back of the closet (or bunged in another room, as is in my case!). … Continue reading Autumn Fashion Staples

Spring Prints

May 9, 2019May 9, 2019Leave a comment

Coming into a season where you don't need so many layers is always a relief, particularly as I love prints and prints are always more accessible and easy to wear in the warmer months. As much as I like layering and am not afraid to mix things up, in the Spring it doesn't require so much … Continue reading Spring Prints

Wardrobe Revivals

March 7, 2019March 7, 2019Leave a comment

I've got to that age and wardrobe capacity where the cyclical nature of fashion means each season I can dip into the back of the closet and pull out some key pieces that can be revived once again. As I'm attempting to buy less this year (which, by the way, I'm finding ridiculously hard) I'm … Continue reading Wardrobe Revivals

The Accessories Edit/Gift Guide

November 30, 2018November 30, 2018Leave a comment

My love for accessories continues no matter the time of year and the festive season always brings with it some extra sparkle. Accessories also make great gifts for the women in your life hence why I've also called this a gift guide (plus I couldn't help adding in a few coffee table books and beauty … Continue reading The Accessories Edit/Gift Guide

In Outerwear

November 4, 2018November 4, 2018Leave a comment

As with most people the idea of Outerwear (and by this I mean coats and jackets - I'll do a separate accessories post) never used to excite me. However I now view them not only as an essential in the Winter months but as something that can bring some excitement and fun into even the … Continue reading In Outerwear

Trans-Seasonal Dressing

September 17, 2018September 17, 2018Leave a comment

Yes, it's that time of year when we're sadly packing away our Summer wardrobe and wondering what to wear in this unpredictable weather. I know some people really struggle with trans-seasonal dressing and wearing multiple layers but with a bit of fore-thought it can be fairly easy. The key for me is not to over-think it … Continue reading Trans-Seasonal Dressing

Packing for Devon, UK

July 28, 2018July 28, 2018Leave a comment

I was in two minds whether to write this post as this is the kind of staycation that calls for more practical clothing and if you know me or read my blog, you'll know that's not my style! If you're heading to the UK coast and have been before, you'll know the weather is somewhat unpredictable … Continue reading Packing for Devon, UK

Late Summer Buys

July 19, 2018July 19, 2018Leave a comment

This Summer has been an amazing one (weather-wise) in the UK with gorgeous sunny days since May. No doubt this will change next week, but even if it does we have our Summer holiday to look forward to. I miraculously feel like I've worn nearly all of my extensive Summer wardrobe already and have therefore … Continue reading Late Summer Buys

Just when I think Babington couldn’t get any better, they go and surpass themselves once again. 💗🥰
So nice to have a bit more freedom and get some topiary-love in. 😍
Only realised at 7pm that I hadn’t had any chocolate today. 🧐 Clearly the situation has since been rectified. 🤭🐰
A little slice of Italy without having to get on a plane.😍
Perfection.🙌 All the little things I used to take for granted are now magnified 100 times. So grateful to be out the house and seeing friends in my garden this week. 😍
3 weeks until I see my hairdresser.🥺🙈In other news...the sun came out today and tentative diary entries are being made.🤞🥳 What are your plans?
Have hit a wall with lockdown fatigue this week. 😫 Even been dreaming about spreadsheets and Glacier projects, that’s how exciting things are. 🙄
Thinking of this beautiful place in France where I had one of those long impromptu lunches with a great friend, laughing for hours over an endless plate of cheese and too many glasses of wine. Can’t wait for those times again. 🙏❤️
All the colours brightening my day.💗
Dreaming of running down these corridors. 💃
Even thinking back fondly to Summer 2020 at this point. 🥴😑
Dreaming in colour. 💭💗 (Making lists of all the places I want to return to. 🤞)
