The Private Sales

Oh dear, temptation seems to be knocking on the door by way of the private sales invitations landing in my inbox. I think my already weakening resolve could crash and burn in this instance.

Matches has also started its private sale which is 30% and Browns Fashion has up to 50% off so I’ll add a few pieces on my wishlist from there as well. The Net-a-Porter private sale is 25% off so it’s always worth shopping around to get the best discount.

As far as I’m aware, you need to be on the shop’s mailing list in order to be invited for these preview sales or to have shopped with them previously. Usually these private sale items go into the public sale, but it’s not guaranteed and obviously the bigger named brands can sell-out fast.

Here are my favourites (I have put them in price categories according to their original prices, before the discounts, apart from the items at Brown’s as they have more of a substantial percentage off:

Under £200

You can probably guess what I’ve already added to my basket! I’ve had this All Things Mochi rainbow dress on my wishlist for some time but was slightly put off by the material and long length but if I really love it I’ll get it taken-up.

Under £500

I can’t believe my green Cult Gaia bag is in the sale already. Thankfully I have worn it once but it still grates.

Top of my wishlist and if I didn’t have a frightening number of shoes and bags already, would be these multi-print Aquazzura slides and this beautiful Ulla Johnson beaded bag which comes in three different colour-ways.

Under £1000

I adore these Dolce & Gabbana slides. They bring them out each year and I have to say they’re really beautiful and comfortable. I really can’t justify buying myself anymore though.

The basket bag is very similar to my Muzungu Sisters basket which I love and bring out every Summer.

My next fashion post will be on Summer dresses and there might be a few new naughty purchases in there!
